Ad was born in 1948 in the Hague, Holland.
He was raised in Scheveningen, near the roaring sea and pursued a degree in art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Enschede, Holland.
Upon graduation, Ad Swier began working in the art field as a graphic designer and illustrator.
Later also as a writer and photographer.
He has worked for a number of years with various firms in the art and publishing field.
His talent immediately brought succes and his art has been used by a number of prestigious companies in Europe and abroad.
